NTA Declares Results for JEE Main Paper 1

2024 Exam Sees Record Number of Candidates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Paper 1 held in 2024. A total of 924 lakh candidates registered for the exam, of which 82 lakh appeared. This marks a significant increase in the number of candidates compared to previous years.

Category-Wise Cut-Offs for JEE Advanced

NTA has also released the category-wise cut-off scores for JEE Advanced 2024 for Paper 1. The cut-off score for the Other Backward Classes-Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) category has increased to 796, a rise from last year's 792.

Here is the category-wise cut-off for JEE Advanced 2024:

  • General: 814
  • OBC-NCL: 796
  • EWS: 789
  • SC: 607
  • ST: 513

Additional Information:

Candidates who have qualified for JEE Advanced can register for the exam from February 15th to 20th, 2024. The JEE Advanced exam will be held on April 14th, 2024.
